Road links to West Cornwall have recently been modernised and additional lanes on the A30 will certainly speed up your journey. The A30 is Cornwall's main road which enters Cornwall at Launceston and ends at Lands End. This road carries the bulk of the dual carriageway in Cornwall.

By Air

St Ives doesn't yet have its own airport. However, the nearest airport in Newquay is only a 50 minute drive from the town. Newquay Cornwall Airport is served by a number of airline operators providing a convenient link to what used to be a remote part of the UK.
